Can you believe it, August this weekend! And coming up fast Spring! Dare I say next it will be Christmas!!!
I know it can be a little depressing looking at the winter garden, maybe full of winter weeds, but don’t despair, with just a little effort it won’t be long until the beds are transformed with a blooming, vibrant and tasty range of deliciousness.
With the weather warming up you will be able to get back into the garden, so below are some ideas for what can be sowed in August. Not an extensive list, just a guide to some favourites and others.
Before sowing, look to clean the beds up, and revitalise with layers of wet straw / compost / good potting mix - watering in each layer as you go, then leave for a little to mature!
And just a reminder that free postage finishes at the end of this month – well maybe I will leave it until Monday, but then it will have to be added back on, as postage costs, as always have gone through the roof.
