The year leaps ever forward and spring starts to shoot and once more it’s time to get things growing. Below are some ideas for what you can sow this month, and for most of you, that is quite a lot.
Now is also a good time to feed your trees, preferably with a natural fertiliser, as they will be looking to the soil to help them grow strong and healthy.
For a tree that is up to 5 years old, apply around the drip line 6 handfuls of fertiliser, half a bag of compost and then mulch. Alternatively and maybe easier, just apply half a bag of planting mix and spread evenly around the base.
